Mission Statement

The purpose of the Allen Chapel Food Pantry is to assist in relieving hunger in Wards 7 and 8 and within the church membership.  A food supplement will be provided to anyone expressing a need for food regardless of where they live. The Food Pantry Board of Directors coordinates and oversees the distribution of all food supplements in the church. The food pantry is operated by volunteers. A mobile food pantry distributes fresh produce every 1^st, 3^rd and 5^th Wednesday on the church parking lot and non-perishable food items are distributed the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday and every Friday at 2443 Ainger Place SE. In addition to groceries, new and used clothing is also available for distribution.  Bro. McKinley Crudup is the coordinator of the Food Pantry.
